The marketingmix famously consists of the four P’s: Product, Place, Promotion and Price.

We will distribute our application online, to be downloaded by anyone who is interested. Our app is located in Ghent and even though the Switchers can meet up wherever they like we assume the larger part of the Switch users will remain in Ghent.
Promotion

Since we developed this app to reduce the cash flow in people’s lives we want to offer this app for free to anyone who wants to use it.
We want to promote Switch mainly online since it is an application to be used online. The emphasis of the promotion will firstly be on the content of the app: you can reduce the cash flow in your life, you can learn new skills and establish new relationships, and you can benefit from using the app by earning virtual coins to spend in our partner’s stores. Secondly, we will also advertise the practicality of the app, namely the fact that anyone who is interested can use it for free. Apart from promoting Switch online we will also rely on word-of-mouth advertising. Our app creates direct contact between the users and they can further advertise it to friends and family and create a real network of Switchers. A last advertising strategy of Switch is making older people aware of our app so they too can Switch. To achieve this we will be in contact with organizations like Okra and seniorennet.be.
